Temptation uses Flexiwire — not standard rigid underwire. The difference matters:
- Rigid underwire sits in a fixed position and can compress milk ducts
- Flexiwire is a flexible low-gauge wire that bends with your changing bust shape
The Australian Breastfeeding Association specifically notes that flexible-wire maternity bras are "less likely to cause problems" than inflexible styles. The side-sling clip also releases the cup fully during feeds, removing any pressure on breast tissue while you nurse.
This nursing bra we recommend for early on in your pregnancy, or once you've had baby, when your milk is in and fluctuations are reduced.
Many mums do wear it through thir whole pregnancy and in to nursing as it is adaptable. Temptation's 6-hook closure extends +7cm so it will expand with your ribcage.
We do recommend to not wear any form of a wire for those first few weeks after having baby.
